When out shopping, look for labels indicating that the product is sustainably produced and environmentally friendly.
The less packaging the better
Think before you buy
Use tap water if you know it is safer and avoid packaged water.
Ask for organic items or eco-labelled goods if they are not available in your local shops,demand for it.

Plastics
In India , plastics are unavoidable material. Every year the production of plastics is also increasing. Now governments are proposing a ban on non recyclable plastics.Industry which are mainly involved inthe process is worried and they are interpreting recyclable according to its convenience.
Think about it
40% of the plastic waste generated in India is non recyclable.
And 40% of the plastic used is in packaging.
Is it possible for India to implement the ban at this present situation and with the existing rules?
