We , Indians celebrate the teacher’s Day to pay tribute to the contribution by the teachers to the teachers. Why we selected this day?It is the Birthday of our second President Dr S Radhakrishnan who was a scholar, diplomat and a great educationist and above all a teacher par excellence ,by himself.
It was a known story and it goes like this: once his students approached him for getting permission to for celebrate his birthday as soon as he became the President; he urged them to celebrate his birthday as the Teacher’s day. Then on wards , we started observing his birthday as Teacher’s Day.
A teachers’ work is great they educate and empower the children to reach the goals of life.Whether a doctor, engineer, collector, or a scientist they owe their carrier to their teachers especially school teachers who handled them as their parents in their childhood and adolescent years.
I take this opportunity to thank my beloved teachers ( teachers from my pre-primary classes to University level) ,who inspire me to learn, who instilled me the power to think, who cared me when I was weak, who scolded me when I was wrong, who acknowledged me when I overcame problems, who criticized me constructively, which I believe was for my well-being.They are there in my thoughts always. I strongly believe without their blessing I wouldn’t have been what I am now .
A VERY HAPPY TEACHERS’ DAY TO YOU ALL MY DEAR TEACHERS !
AND A VERY HAPPY TEACHERS DAY TO ALL THE TEACHERS IN THIS WORLD
