Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, by Roald Dahl

 Charlie Bucket is the hero of the story, a poor boy . He became one of the five lucky children  who get the opportunity to visit the world’s largest chocolate factory. The story narrates the adventures inside the factory as well as the accidents during the visit.

The book is a witty one as it is narrated in  the author’s  genuine style.


The Water Babies, by Charles Kinglsey

              This book depicts the story of a poor chimney sweep who accidentally  falls into a river  dies ,and  then changed as a water baby. Story narrates about the boy’s adventures in the under water and his friendships with fairies and other water babies.


The Wind in the Willows, by Kenneth Grahame

This is a cute  story of animals like mole, toad,rat, otter etc living  free  from the worries and  tensions of  life, by the river side  writing poetry. The reationships described in the story also marvellous. We feel as if the characters are all human beings.

The Children will enjoy reading this book.


Peter Pan, by JM Barrie


               This book tells the story of a boy who never grows up.           He  magically refuses to grow up and can fly.  He lives in                 Neverland  and is the leader of a gang with his never-ending         childhood adventures. The story is beautifully depicted with       his interactions with the fairies, mermaids and other                       impossible   and possible characters.

This book  will be liked by the kids and the adults alike.

Cars Could Run On Recycled Newspaper

Here’s one way that old-fashioned newsprint beats the Internet. Tulane University scientists have discovered a novel bacterial strain, dubbed “TU-103,” that can use paper to produce butanol, a biofuel that can serve as a substitute for gasoline. First Glimpse Into Birth of the Milky Way

For almost 20 years astrophysicists have been trying to recreate the formation of spiral galaxies such as our Milky Way realistically. Now astrophysicists from the University of Zurich present the world’s first realistic simulation of the formation of our home galaxy together with astronomers from the University of California at Santa Cruz. The new results were partly calculated on the computer of the Swiss National Supercomputing Center  and show, for instance, that there has to be stars on the outer edge of the Milky Way.  Read more..
