Grand Parents Day

Grand Parents day was celebrated by the  grand children from KVOCF in a grand manner at the primary wing assembly area. Function was inaugurated by former  HM  Ms .Vasumathi. Various Competitions were held for the healthy  grandmas and grandpas in connection with this.

Final Landing of Atlantis

the Atlantis Shuttle, made its final landing early Thursday morning around 5:58am(Indian Time 14.27). It was an end of an era of space mission. After the 30 years of  fruitful services which include 135 space journeys, 307 days’ stay in the space, 12.7 crores miles long journey, now it will rests in the museum at Kennedy space Center. The last journey was of 13 days .

Commander Chris Ferguson  was the leader for this last journey. In his own words “Although we got to take the ride, we sure hope that everybody who has ever worked on, or touched, or looked at, or envied or admired a space shuttle was able to take just a little part of the journey with us.”
